Humana/CenterWell Completes MaxHealth Acquisition

CenterWell, the healthcare services division of Humana Inc., has completed its acquisition of MaxHealth from Arsenal Capital Partners and MaxHealth founder-shareholders. The transaction expands CenterWell’s primary care footprint in West and South Florida.

MaxHealth operates 54 owned primary care clinics, four owned specialty/ancillary clinics, and 24 downstream affiliate clinics, serving more than 120,000 patients, including more than 80,000 in value-based care programs. Latham & Watkins advised Humana and CenterWell on the deal, including healthcare regulatory and data privacy matters.
