InMusic has acquired Native Instruments, a enterprise software business in the technology sector, for $100m. Native Instruments develops music production software and audio plugins used by producers and studios, while InMusic’s portfolio spans Akai Pro, Moog, Denon DJ, Numark, and other music hardware brands. The Native Instruments acquisition expands InMusic acquisitions across software platforms, including NI’s iZotope, Plugin Alliance, and Brainworx brands, and supports NKS integration for Akai Pro and M-Audio gear in 2025. The merger acquisition is a strategic acquisition by InMusic, with Native Instruments previously majority owned by Francisco Partners since 2021, and both companies plan to complete the technology M&A in the coming weeks.
