Newark Engineering Group Acquired by Wesco | Industrials M&A Deal

Wesco has completed the acquisition of Newark Engineering Group, a fire protection business in Florida, for $132 million. Newark Engineering Group provides fire protection engineering and related lifecycle services for industrial facilities, supporting compliance and risk reduction for customers in FL. Wesco acquisitions expand its data center cooling and lifecycle services footprint by adding Newark Engineering Group’s engineering capabilities and field delivery. The Wesco acquisitions are structured as an add on acquisition and strategic acquisition within industrials M&A, with the deal announced for an under $10M size category and an expected close following definitive agreement terms.
