Henkel has agreed to acquire Olaplex Holdings for about $1.4 billion, valuing the deal at $2.06 per share. The transaction is expected to close as early as the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Olaplex will no longer trade on the Nasdaq stock exchange after completion, and Advent International, the majority shareholder, will relinquish its investment. The deal was approved by Olaplex’s board and Advent. Henkel said the acquisition aligns with its strategy to grow its premium hair care portfolio, and Olaplex CEO Amanda Baldwin tied the combination to accelerating product innovation and expanding reach.
