Prime Specialty Contracting Acquired by Tweet Garot

Tweet Garot Mechanical, a Wisconsin-based mechanical contractor, acquired Prime Specialty Contracting to expand its presence into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Prime Specialty Contracting operates offices in Marquette and Escanaba and provides mechanical contracting, plumbing, heating and cooling, and custom metal fabrication.

The acquisition was completed in February 2026, and both Prime locations will remain open and fully operational. Founder Cory Bushong will continue to lead the business, which employs approximately 90 people. The companies cited alignment on culture, workforce development, and customer relationships as key drivers behind the transaction.
