Ondas to Acquire Rotron Aero in UK Defense Deal

Ondas Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Rotron Aero, a UK-based developer of advanced unmanned aerial systems and long-range autonomous platforms. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Ondas’ defense and security offering through an expanded system-of-systems architecture.

Ondas says integrating Rotron’s technology will add next-generation, attritable one-way autonomous attack systems with long-range strike capabilities designed to operate within Ondas’ existing systems architecture. Ondas also frames the deal as part of its strategic growth plan to target high-growth scalers in new geographies and to secure a UK strategic footprint within NATO ecosystems.
