Royu Acquired by Numero | Technology M&A Deal

Numero has acquired Royu, a enterprise software business in California. Royu builds AI-first automation for finance operations, supporting controller and CFO workflows across close, reconciliation, audit, reporting, and order-to-cash processes. Numero acquisitions aim to expand an agentic system of work for the Office of the CFO, shifting teams from manual execution to AI workers with accuracy, auditability, and enterprise control. The Numero acquires Royu deal is an add-on acquisition announced as a cash-and-stock technology M&A transaction, with an undisclosed size and private equity acquisition backing. Royu co-founders Viswajith and Sathya are set to join Numero’s leadership team as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively, with the broader Royu team also expected to integrate.
