Adobe has completed the acquisition of Semrush, a enterprise software business in California. Adobe acquires Semrush to expand brand visibility and add SEO, generative engine optimization, and agentic search optimization capabilities to its customer experience platform. Semrush provides search intelligence and discoverability analytics built over more than 17 years, supporting marketers from small businesses to global enterprises, with integration expected to strengthen Adobe’s CX Enterprise offering. The Semrush acquisition is an add on acquisition within technology M&A, driven by Adobe’s strategic acquisition posture and focus on AI-led discovery across search engines and LLMs. Deal size was undisclosed, and Adobe acquisitions are positioned to deliver an expanded product roadmap as the platforms integrate.
