EnergyPlatform

Deal Overview

Enviro Infra Engineers has completed the acquisition of Suyog Urja, a renewable energy business in India, for $311 crore. Enviro Infra Engineers acquisitions are aimed at expanding wind engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities through Suyog Urja, which operates an asset-light, zero-debt model. Suyog Urja has an order book of about ₹650 crore and experience across more than 500 MW completed projects, with roughly 600 MW under execution, supporting Enviro’s integrated renewable energy platform spanning solar, wind, and battery energy storage. The Suyog Urja acquisition is structured as a strategic platform acquisition via its wholly owned subsidiary EIE Renewables, starting with a 51% stake for ₹111 crore and followed by phased purchases of 24% in 2027 and 25% in 2028 to reach 100% ownership, funded through a 50:50 equity-debt mix.
