Deal Overview

Nedging Hall Estate, a family-owned Suffolk hospitality estate, has acquired The Angel Hotel in Lavenham for £700,000. The property is a Grade-II listed pub and rooms with eight bedrooms.

The Angel closed suddenly in February and went on the market shortly after, with an asking price of £700,000. The pub had previously been leased by SRPH Limited, which was dissolved on August 12, 2025. Nedging Hall Estate owners Charles and Harriet Buckle said the business will undergo an extensive renovation during a transition period before reopening.

Nedging Hall Estate’s hospitality portfolio includes The Crown in Bildeston, The Lindsey Rose, Nedging Hall, an exclusive-use country house, and Mauldons Brewery.
