Market Transport Services Acquires Triple Express

Market Transport Services, a logistics and multimodal transportation services company based in Portland, Ore., announced it has acquired Triple Express, a transportation broker based in Medford, Ore. The acquisition complements Market Transport Services’ earlier 2003 purchase of InTransit.

Financial details were not disclosed. With the addition of Triple Express, the combined business is expected to facilitate nearly 275,000 truckloads per year and increase revenue to nearly $270 million (2005). The combined companies employ more than 235 people and 412 drivers and owner/operators, with more than 103 affiliate offices across 32 states and Canada.
