U.S. Anesthesia Partners Acquired by Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe | Healthcare M&A Deal

Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe has completed the acquisition of U.S. Anesthesia Partners, a physician practice business in Texas, for $15M. U.S. Anesthesia Partners provides anesthesiology services through a network of practices and clinicians, supporting healthcare M&A rollups in TX acquisitions. The U.S. Anesthesia Partners acquisition was pursued as part of Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe acquisitions to expand anesthesia coverage and scale physician practice acquisition operations. The Federal Trade Commission settlement involves an other acquisition structure tied to private equity acquisition activity, with more than a dozen anesthesiology practices, 1,000 doctors, and 750 nurses referenced in court filings. Deal terms remain confidential, and the FTC indicated it would resume its case if the settlement is not fully implemented.
