Patria Investments to Acquire WP Global Partners

Patria Investments Limited has announced the acquisition of WP Global Partners, a U.S. private equity solutions manager focused on the lower-middle market. The deal is intended to enhance Patria’s North America presence and expand its private equity capabilities.

The transaction is described as involving a cash payment and is expected to be beneficial for financial performance in the first year after acquisition. WP Global Partners was founded in 2005 and has deployed more than $6 billion across various sectors since inception, with the WP team expected to support Patria’s general-partner relationships and client outreach.
