Wtech Fire Group Acquired by APi Group | Industrials M&A Deal

APi Group has acquired Wtech Fire Group, a fire protection business in Ireland, for $175 million. APi Group acquisitions will expand European fire sprinkler and fire suppression services by adding Wtech’s fire protection, suppression, and detection capabilities across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, and the Nordic region. The Wtech Fire Group acquisition supports APi’s goal to build an end-to-end fire and life safety platform to complement its existing strength in fire alarm, detection, and electronic security. The add on acquisition is an announced strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, with expected closing in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
