Aurex, a space- and missile-defense-focused company backed by Godspeed Capital, has acquired Alpha 2, a provider of cryptographic engineering, cybersecurity, and related services for federal agencies. Alpha 2 was founded in 2013 to specialize in encryption engineering and secure communications support for space programs across civilian, defense, and intelligence customers.
