Power Sustainable Lios Acquires Crofter’s Organic

Power Sustainable Lios, the specialist food-focused private equity platform of Power Sustainable, has announced a strategic acquisition of Crofter’s Organic, described as the largest supplier of organic jams, jellies, and spreads in North America. The transaction includes co-investments from Farm Credit Canada, BMO Capital Partners, and the founding Latka family, which will remain engaged as long-term partners.

Crofter’s was founded in 1989 and is based in Parry Sound, Ontario. The investment is intended to support Crofter’s next phase of expansion, including capacity enhancement, marketing investment to build brand awareness, and product innovation for branded and private label customers.
