Ginkgo Residential has completed the acquisition of Edgewater Village, a property management business in North Carolina, for an undisclosed amount. Ginkgo Residential acquires Edgewater Village, a multifamily community in Greensboro, expanding its workforce housing portfolio and adding to its real estate services M&A footprint in the Carolinas. The buyer plans value-add renovations, including unit interior upgrades, community improvements, operational efficiencies, and sustainability-focused upgrades to support attainable rents. The add on acquisition is part of Ginkgo Residential acquisitions led by a private equity acquisition strategy, with the company now managing more than 10,000 workforce housing units across North and South Carolina. Ginkgo also launched Ginkgo GP Fund II, seeded with Edgewater Village, with a first closing in April 2026 and a next closing expected in fall 2026.
