Interim HealthCare Buys Its South Carolina Franchise

Interim HealthCare Inc. has acquired its second-largest, long-tenured franchise in its network, transferring ownership of the operation from the franchisee to Interim corporate. The franchise serves the upstate and Midlands of South Carolina and includes a hospice location in Atlanta.

Financial terms were undisclosed. The acquired franchise employs close to 800 people, serves more than 3,000 patients daily, and conducts more than 350,000 patient visits annually, according to an Interim spokesperson. Interim plans to maintain ownership and has no plans to re-sell the franchise.

The franchise was previously owned by InvestSouth, which said care teams will continue delivering the same trusted service backed by Interim HealthCare’s clinical, operational, and support resources.
