Kirkwood Heating & Cooling and Howerton Plumbing Acquired by Blackthorn Capital | Industrials M&A Deal

Blackthorn Capital has completed the acquisition of Kirkwood Heating & Cooling and Howerton Plumbing, hvac and plumbing businesses in Ohio. Kirkwood Heating & Cooling provides residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air-conditioning services in New Carlisle, while Howerton Plumbing delivers residential, commercial and industrial plumbing services in Dayton. The Kirkwood Heating & Cooling acquisition included purchase of the real estate tied to its operations, supporting an expanded hvac acquisition footprint. The Blackthorn Capital acquisitions represent a platform acquisition in essential home and building services, structured as a platform acquisition with simultaneous closing of substantially all assets. The private equity acquisition was announced with deal terms not disclosed, and legal representation was provided by Neal & Leroy.
