Announced
TechnologyPlatform

Deal Overview

mea Platform, an AI-native insurance technology company, raised $50 million in minority growth equity from SEP. The investment is intended to accelerate product development and expand customer engagement as mea continues its previously announced expansion across (re)insurance operations.

Founded in 2021, mea is positioned as an insurance-specific AI platform that automates end-to-end operations for carriers, brokers, and managing general agents. The company reports proprietary AI products pre-trained on insurance language and requirements for rapid deployment and non-invasive integration. mea says it has live client deployments across 21 countries and processes more than $400 billion in gross written premium through its platform.

mea also states it has been intentionally bootstrapped and is in its fourth consecutive year of profitable growth.
