Announced
EnergyIllinoisAdd-on

Deal Overview

MacLean-Fogg, a family-owned industrial manufacturer based in Mundelein, Illinois, has announced it will acquire OMCO, the parent company of U.S. solar tracker and fixed-tilt racking manufacturer OMCO Solar. OMCO Solar will continue to operate as a distinct brand within the MacLean-Fogg organization.

The deal keeps OMCO Solar’s current leadership team, including President Kevin Hopp and Vice President of Business Development Eric Goodwin. OMCO Solar is headquartered in Arizona and manufactures through facilities in Alabama, Indiana, Ohio, and Arizona. OMCO was founded in 1955 and is described as the nation’s largest custom roll forming company, with additional metal fabrication operations.

OMCO entered the utility-scale solar market in 2007 and says it has delivered more than 12 GW of factory-direct solar mounting structures in the U.S. since then.
