On-market deals, structured the same way we structure closed ones.
Tentt's transactions layer tracks closed and announced M&A across every sector and US state. The on-market layer is the sibling to that: middle-market businesses that are actively for sale right now — aggregated from brokers, owner-direct offerings, SMB marketplaces, and industry-specific listing sites, then structured into the same sector / sub-sector / state / size / buyer-type taxonomy as our closed data.
What's coming
A unified, filterable inventory
Search on-market listings by sector, state, metro, revenue band, and asking price — using the same facets as the closed transactions layer, so one filter stack spans both.
Source aggregation, de-duplication, and enrichment
Listings pulled from dozens of brokers and marketplaces are normalised, de-duplicated, and enriched with sector taxonomy, owner signals, and (where available) verified decision-maker contact.
Signal overlays
Each listing is scored against the same signal stack we run on closed deals: succession indicators, growth stalls, competitive pressure, financing timing. Highest-intent listings surface first.
Saved searches + alerts
PE firms and strategic acquirers can save a thesis (sector + state + size + revenue model) and get notified the moment a matching listing hits the market.
Want early access?
We're onboarding a small group of private equity firms and strategic buyers as design partners for the on-market layer. Book a call and we'll walk you through the roadmap, share the listing sources we're starting with, and get your thesis into our saved-search pilot.
