Owen Mumford is a privately held innovator and manufacturer of drug delivery technologies and medical devices, including the Aidaptus next generation auto-injector platform. embecta acquires Owen Mumford to expand diabetes care technology into broader healthcare medical supplies and to strengthen drug-delivery platforms for pharmaceutical partners serving chronic care patients in obesity, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and anaphylaxis markets. The healthcare M&A platform acquisition is a public company acquisition by embecta and includes up to £50 million in performance-based payments tied to Aidaptus net sales over three years following closing.
