Deal Overview

ECI Partners has acquired Paragin Group, a Netherlands-based provider of digital exam and assessment software, from Main Capital Partners in a secondary buyout. The transaction was announced on 16 February 2026 and ends a five-year partnership that began with Main’s initial investment in 2021.

Paragin is headquartered in Nijkerk and employs about 120 professionals across more than 20 nationalities. The company serves around 1,250 end customers across 20 countries, including roughly 750 organisations directly and about 500 indirectly through partners. Its Remindo platform supports the full testing cycle from question development and test construction to administration and analysis.

During Main Capital’s ownership, Paragin completed three add-on acquisitions: Sowiso (2022), Coachview (2023), and Xebic (2024), expanding the product suite across education assessment, training, and student development workflows.
