Deal Overview

CleanPeak Energy Holdings has agreed to acquire Adelaide-headquartered Sustainable Energy Infrastructure (SEI), an owner and developer of solar and battery assets. SEI is backed by a consortium of Australian superannuation funds, including Commonwealth Bank Group Super and MTAA Super.

SEI’s portfolio includes 14 completed solar farms, split across South Australia and New South Wales, plus seven battery energy storage systems (BESS) with seven in South Australia and one in Victoria. CleanPeak says SEI’s operating portfolio totals over 40 MW of rooftop solar, 100 MW of utility solar, and 35 MWh of battery projects, with additional solar and battery projects in the pipeline.

CleanPeak also reports it grew its portfolio in January 2026 by acquiring five solar farm developments in NSW from Fortitude Renewables, scheduled to be operational in 2027.
