Firestorm Labs Acquisition | Technology Deal in CA

Firestorm Labs has secured an APFIT award for Firestorm Labs, a technology other business in California, for $30M. The San Diego-based company will scale its xCell containerized manufacturing platform to enable expeditionary production, sustainment, and repair of combat-ready systems. Firestorm Labs will also increase production and sustainment of the Tempest family of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) for operational units across the Indo-Pacific, supporting distributed, contested logistics. The technology deals CA program funding is tied to the Department of War’s Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies initiative, aligning with Contested Logistics critical technology priorities.
