Emami has acquired Vedix and SkinKraft, a fitness wellness business in India, for $43M. Emami acquisitions bring Vedix and SkinKraft, India-based direct-to-consumer personalised beauty and personal care brands that use data-driven haircare and skincare formulations. Vedix blends Ayurvedic principles with modern data analytics, while SkinKraft follows a dermatology-led approach with clinically validated ingredients for targeted skin and hair concerns. The Vedix and SkinKraft acquisition is a strategic acquisition and add on acquisition, with Emami taking a majority stake and valuing the deal at INR 321 crore. The agreement includes performance-linked adjustments over 24 months, with further stake-related mechanics tied to future outcomes.
