Deal Overview

Nextpower has acquired Zigor Corporation, a energy services other business in the U.S., for $80.5 million. Nextpower acquisitions add Zigor’s power conversion business and its U.S.-based subsidiary, Apex Power, to expand modular inverter technology for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage applications. The acquired platform supports 1500V solar inverter use, 600V and 1000V repowering, and is designed to be 2000V ready with modular skid designs scaling up to 5.2 MVA. This add on acquisition is a strategic acquisition by Nextpower to strengthen its power electronics platform, integrate power conversion with solar trackers and electrical balance of systems, and accelerate U.S. inverter manufacturing ramp-up expected to begin in 2027.
