Zigor Acquired by Nextpower | Technology M&A Deal

Nextpower has completed the acquisition of Zigor, a technology other business in Spain, for $80.5 million. The Nextpower acquisitions also cover Zigor’s US inverter-related power conversion assets through Apex Power, expanding Nextpower’s power conversion platform for utility-scale solar and grid architecture. Zigor and Apex Power provide inverter and power conversion technology used in large solar power plants, supporting Nextpower’s move into battery energy storage and data center power systems. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add on acquisition, with Nextpower acquisitions positioning the company for broader technology M&A in power electronics.
