1Spatial Acquired by VertiGIS | Technology M&A Deal

VertiGIS has acquired 1Spatial, a enterprise software business in the UK, for £87.10 million. VertiGIS acquisitions combine geospatial data management and location reference data management (LMDM) capabilities with 1Spatial’s rules engine and data automation to support intelligent network and infrastructure workflows. The 1Spatial acquisition strengthens VertiGIS’s platform acquisition strategy for high-quality, governable spatial data used by AI and LLM-driven geospatial applications, expanding coverage across the UK, France, and Benelux while reinforcing North America and Australia. Announced as a platform acquisition and structured as a private equity acquisition backed by Battery Ventures, the technology M&A deal is expected to close under the announced terms following a P2P delisting process.
