Origination in the Age of AI.
Lattice Semiconductor has acquired AMI, a enterprise software business in the cloud and AI infrastructure manageability space, for $1.65 billion. AMI provides platform firmware and infrastructure management software that helps customers control data center, cloud, and AI systems with a focus on uptime, deployment, security, and hardware management. Lattice Semiconductor acquisitions combine low-power FPGA technology with AMI’s multi-vendor, silicon-agnostic approach to support secure system-level control across datacenter, communications, industrial, and embedded computing environments. The AMI acquisition is a strategic add on acquisition by a strategic buyer, expected to close in Q3 2026 subject to regulatory approvals, with consideration of about $1 billion in cash and roughly $650 million in Lattice common stock.
