AMI Acquired by Lattice Semiconductor | Technology M&A Deal

Lattice Semiconductor has acquired AMI, a enterprise software business in the United States, for $1.65 billion. AMI provides platform firmware and infrastructure manageability software used to support data center and cloud operations. Lattice Semiconductor acquisitions in enterprise software aim to strengthen platform acquisition capabilities for AI data center demand and improve manageability across compute infrastructure. The technology M&A is structured as a strategic acquisition with about $1.0 billion in cash and roughly $650 million in other consideration, and it is expected to close after regulatory and customary approvals.
