Tenaris has acquired Artrom Steel Tubes, a metals fabrication business in Romania, for EUR 86 million. Tenaris acquisitions target Artrom Steel Tubes S.A., a Romanian manufacturer of steel and seamless steel pipes with steelmaking capacity of about 450,000 metric tons at Reșița and seamless pipe rolling capacity up to 200,000 metric tons at Slatina. The Artrom Steel Tubes acquisition expands Tenaris’s industrial pipe product range and manufacturing footprint to better serve European industrial customers. The strategic acquisition is structured as a platform acquisition by a strategic buyer, announced in 2026 and expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to EU competition clearance and Romanian government approvals on a cash-free, debt-free basis.
