Crown Castle Fiber Solutions Acquired by Zayo | Technology M&A Deal

Zayo has completed the acquisition of Crown Castle Fiber Solutions, a technology other business in the United States, for $8.5 billion. Zayo acquires Crown Castle Fiber Solutions to add approximately 90,000 metro-dense route miles and 40,000 on-net enterprise locations, expanding fiber reach for AI, cloud, and enterprise connectivity. The Crown Castle Fiber Solutions acquisition strengthens Zayo’s national long-haul scale and dense metro presence across key U.S. markets, supporting high-capacity network demand. The add on acquisition is a strategic acquisition by Zayo, a strategic digital infrastructure provider, and is part of a broader $8.5 billion combined transaction that also includes small cells assets. Zayo acquisitions were advised by PJT Partners, J.P. Morgan, and UBS Investment Bank, with Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett providing legal counsel.
