Crown Castle Small Cell & Venue business Acquired by EQT | Technology M&A Deal

EQT has completed the acquisition of Crown Castle Small Cell & Venue business, a telecom technology business in North Carolina, for an undisclosed amount. EQT’s platform launch created Arium Networks, a small-cell infrastructure provider delivering in-building and venue-based wireless connectivity across the United States from Charlotte, NC. Arium Networks operates a portfolio of more than 100,000 on-air or under-contract small cells across 43 states and supports major U.S. mobile network operators with coverage and capacity for dense demand areas. The Crown Castle Small Cell & Venue business acquisition is part of EQT acquisitions and technology M&A, positioning the buyer for a platform acquisition and private equity acquisition strategy in telecom.
