Eigen AI Acquired by Nebius | Technology M&A Deal

Nebius has completed the acquisition of Eigen AI, a enterprise software business in Massachusetts, for $643 million. Nebius acquisitions bring Eigen AI’s inference and model optimization technology into Nebius’s managed inference platform, Token Factory, aimed at improving throughput and reducing AI serving costs. Eigen AI, rooted in MIT research, develops hardware-aware neural architecture and efficiency methods that help enterprises run production AI with lower latency. The strategic acquisition is structured as a cash and stock merger acquisition and is valued at over $100M, reflecting a shift in technology M&A from GPU access to inference efficiency.
