Idelic Acquired by Descartes Systems Group | Technology M&A Deal

Descartes Systems Group has acquired Idelic, a data analytics business in Pennsylvania, for $28 million. Descartes Systems Group acquisitions expand its fleet safety and performance management capabilities by adding Idelic’s AI-powered driver safety intelligence platform. Idelic unifies safety training, monitoring, reporting, and coaching using telemetry and accident data, including more than 40 billion miles of driving data and 400,000 accident records, to predict driver risk and improve interventions. The Idelic acquisition is an add on acquisition within technology M&A, supporting Descartes’ Global Logistics Network and enhancing its final-mile footprint with connected telematics and regulatory integrations. The public company acquisition is announced as a technology deals PA transaction valued in the $25M–$50M range, with deal terms reported as $12 million and $28 million components.
