PharmaCorp Rx has acquired PharmaChoice Canada pharmacies, a pharmacy business in Canada, for $24.2 million. PharmaChoice Canada operates pharmacist-led community pharmacy locations, and PharmaCorp Rx acquisitions expand its healthcare M&A footprint in Eastern Canada while preserving local managing pharmacists. The pharmacy acquisition adds eight bannered stores, increasing PharmaCorp Rx’s presence from six to fourteen locations and strengthening market density in major urban areas plus rural communities. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add on acquisition by a strategic buyer, with PharmaCorp Rx Rx planning integration of the acquired locations and funding the purchase from existing cash resources; additional letters of intent cover four more potential pharmacy acquisition targets.
