Reap Technologies Acquired by Payward | Financial Services M&A Deal

Payward has acquired Reap Technologies, a payments processing business in Hong Kong, for $600 million. Reap Technologies provides cross-border business payments infrastructure that connects traditional finance with digital assets, with a focus on stablecoin-powered settlement. Payward acquisitions aim to expand Kraken’s stablecoin and payments processing platform in Asia by adding B2B payment flows and settlement capabilities. The strategic acquisition is structured as a platform acquisition and is announced as a cash-and-stock deal, following Payward’s prior up-to-$550 million purchase of Bitnomial.
