Track Group Inc. has completed the acquisition of Track Group, a enterprise software business in Illinois, for $27 million. Track Group provides offender tracking and monitoring services, supporting technology-enabled compliance and community corrections workflows across Illinois. The recapitalisation acquisition strengthens Track Group’s balance sheet through debt refinancing and deleveraging, positioning the company for growth in enterprise software acquisition opportunities. As a technology M&A recapitalisation acquisition, the $27 million deal includes a 5-year $21 million term loan, a $10.3 million PIPE at $0.35 per share, and creditor and management alignment with extended debt maturity.
