Palo Alto Networks Completes Chronosphere Acquisition

Palo Alto Networks has completed its acquisition of Chronosphere, an observability company focused on handling the massive data volumes that power modern digital operations. The deal is positioned around solving the visibility gap in cloud-native environments where legacy tools can break down.

Chronosphere is described as providing deep, real-time visibility across applications, infrastructure, and AI systems. Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Cortex AgentiX with Chronosphere’s cloud-native observability platform to enable AI agents to find and fix security and IT issues automatically, with observability context across models, prompts, users, and performance.

The Chronosphere Telemetry Pipeline remains available as a standalone solution intended to filter low-value noise to reduce data volumes and lower infrastructure needs.
