DustPhotonics Acquired by Credo Technology Group Holding | Technology M&A Deal

Credo Technology Group Holding has acquired DustPhotonics, a enterprise software business in Singapore, for $750 million. Credo Technology Group Holding acquisitions are aimed at bringing DustPhotonics’ silicon photonics and photonic integrated circuit (SiPho PIC) technology in-house to expand optical interconnect capabilities. DustPhotonics develops photonics technology used for AI infrastructure, supporting copper-to-optical connectivity for 800G and 1.6T networks and future 3.2T applications. The strategic acquisition is structured as a platform acquisition with cash and stock consideration plus performance-based milestones, and it is expected to close after regulatory and customary approvals.
