Mirantis Acquired by IREN | Technology M&A Deal

IREN has acquired Mirantis, a enterprise software business in New York, for $625 million. IREN acquires Mirantis to expand cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based orchestration capabilities that support AI Cloud delivery at scale. Mirantis provides enterprise support services and its k0rdent AI platform for managing AI infrastructure across bare metal, virtual machines, and Kubernetes environments for 1,500+ enterprise customers globally. The technology M&A is structured as a platform acquisition by a public company acquisition, with Mirantis expected to operate as a standalone subsidiary while strengthening deployment, monitoring, customer support, and market access for IREN acquisitions. The announced deal consideration will be paid in IREN ordinary shares under a definitive agreement.
