Enterprise outbound stack
Researched by the Tentt team · draft awaiting expert review · Updated
An enterprise outbound stack licenses ZoomInfo for contacts and Bombora for intent, orchestrates in Clay, verifies with ZeroBounce, sequences in Outreach or Salesloft and runs on Salesforce. For 10 reps, the published parts cost about $1,550 to $2,550 a month as of October 2026; ZoomInfo, Bombora direct, Outreach and Salesloft are contact sales.
Who is this stack for?
Sales organisations with a team of account executives and SDRs on Salesforce, procurement and security reviews, and a RevOps or GTM engineering function that owns the data flow.
Which tools are in the stack, and what does each one do?
01Contact and company data
ZoomInfo
Licensed source of firmographics, contacts and direct dials; Clay's ZoomInfo actions use your own ZoomInfo licence and credits.
Contact sales (price depends on features, licences and credit usage)
02Intent signals
BomboraTopic intent showing which accounts are researching your category, used to prioritise accounts before reps are assigned.
Contact sales for a direct contract; inside Clay, Bombora intent lookups run on Clay credits with no Bombora contract
03Orchestration
ClayCombines ZoomInfo and Bombora data, scores and routes accounts, and writes records to Salesforce and prospects to the sequencer.
Growth from $446/month (annual); Enterprise is custom, adding SSO/SAML, SCIM, RBAC and bulk enrichment over 50,000 records
04Verification
ZeroBounce
Validates emails inside Clay (all plans) before they reach a rep's sequence, protecting the reps' own mailboxes.
ZeroBounce ONE $99/month, or $948/year, from 10,000 credits a month
05Sales engagement
Outreach
Runs multichannel sequences, calls and tasks from each rep's mailbox; Clay's Add to Sequence action enrols prospects.
Contact sales (seat licences plus consumption-based AI credits)
SalesloftAlternative sequencer: Clay's Add Person to Cadence action enrols prospects and Salesloft logs activity to Salesforce.
Contact sales
06CRM
SalesforceSystem of record; Clay reads reports and SOQL lookups and writes, upserts and converts records on Growth and above.
Pro Suite $100/user/month or Core $195/user/month (US, billed annually)
How does data flow through the stack?
- 1Clay pulls target accounts from a Salesforce report and adds Bombora topic intent for each.
- 2Clay scores accounts on fit and intent, and enriches the buying committee from ZoomInfo using your ZoomInfo licence.
- 3ZeroBounce validates each email, and invalid contacts are dropped before routing.
- 4Clay upserts accounts and contacts in Salesforce and assigns them to the owning rep.
- 5Clay adds approved prospects to an Outreach sequence or a Salesloft cadence, and activity logs back to Salesforce.
How much does this stack cost per month?
Published parts about $1,550 to $2,550 a month for 10 reps; the rest is contact sales
Assumes 10 Salesforce users and one Clay workspace. Low end: Salesforce Pro Suite 10 x $100 = $1,000 + Clay Growth $446 (annual) + ZeroBounce ONE $99 = $1,545. High end: Salesforce Core 10 x $195 = $1,950 + Clay Growth $495 (monthly) + ZeroBounce ONE $99 = $2,544. Not included because no price is published: ZoomInfo (all plans), a direct Bombora contract, Outreach (all Amplify plans), Salesloft (all products) and Clay Enterprise, which most teams at this size will need for SSO and SCIM. Clay credits used for Bombora lookups also come out of the Clay plan allowance. Prices checked on 17 October 2026; Salesforce's UK page lists the same tiers at £80 and £156 per user.
What are the trade-offs?
- Most of the cost is unpublished: ZoomInfo, Outreach and Salesloft are all contact sales, so you can only compare total cost after running procurement with each vendor.
- Clay's ZoomInfo actions use your ZoomInfo licence and credits, and ZoomInfo says each export costs one credit, so heavy Clay use draws down the ZoomInfo contract.
- Clay's Salesforce FAQ says Integration User and API Only licences cannot complete its OAuth approval, so the connection needs a full licence with API Enabled, and its writes cannot be undone.
- Sequencing from reps' own mailboxes protects the domain reputation but limits volume per rep, unlike the many-mailbox sending model of Smartlead or Instantly.
Questions about this stack
How much does ZoomInfo cost?
ZoomInfo does not publish prices: every plan on its pricing page is contact sales. ZoomInfo says price depends on features, number of licences and credit usage, and that each export costs one credit.
Can I use Bombora without a Bombora contract?
Yes, through Clay. Clay lists two Bombora actions, company topic intent and topic intent by geo, that run on Clay credits on all plans, so you can buy intent per lookup inside Clay.
Is Outreach or Salesloft better for enterprise outbound?
Both are contact-sales sequencers with Clay-built actions on Clay's Launch plan and above, so the choice usually comes down to your Salesforce setup and the rest of each suite. Outreach lists bidirectional Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics plugins; Salesloft runs its own CRM Sync for Salesforce and HubSpot.
Does Clay work with Salesforce?
Yes. Clay's Salesforce integration is on Growth and above and can look up records, run SOQL queries, import reports, and create, update, upsert and convert records. It needs a Salesforce licence with API Enabled rather than an Integration User licence.
