Attio: pricing, features and alternatives

Flexible, data-model-first CRM with custom objects, workflows and a native Clay integration, priced per seat.

Researched by the Tentt team · draft awaiting expert review · Updated

Attio is a CRM built around a flexible data model: you define your own objects, attributes and lists, sync email and calendar, and automate with credit-based workflows. As of October 2026 Attio has a free plan for up to 3 seats, and Plus costs £27 per user a month billed annually (£34 monthly).

What does Attio do?

  • Models your data with standard and custom objects (up to 3 on Free, 5 on Plus, 12 on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise) and record limits from 50,000 to 1,000,000 by plan.
  • Syncs email and calendar from Gmail and Outlook to build contact and company records automatically, with built-in enrichment.
  • Runs workflows and AI features that draw on per-seat and per-workspace credits rather than a fixed workflow count.
  • Sends email from the CRM (200 a month on Free, 1,000 on Plus, unlimited on Pro and Enterprise) and builds reports (3 to 100+ by plan).
  • Exposes a REST API with global limits of 100 read requests and 25 write requests per second.

Where does Attio fit in a GTM engineering stack?

Attio is the flexible CRM and system of record in a GTM engineering stack: custom objects hold accounts, people and signals, while Clay enriches records and writes them back through its native Attio integration.

  1. 1Clay imports records from an Attio object or list, up to 50,000 at a time
  2. 2Clay enriches them and runs waterfalls for emails and phones
  3. 3Clay creates, updates or upserts the Attio records and list entries
  4. 4HeyReach or lemlist syncs outreach activity back into Attio

Who is Attio best for?

A good fit if you

  • GTM engineers who want to design their own objects and attributes, for example a custom Signals or Partners object fed from Clay.
  • Small teams that want a usable free CRM: up to 3 seats, 3 objects and 50,000 records at no cost.
  • Clay-heavy stacks, since Clay's native Attio integration can import, create, update and upsert records and list entries.

Look elsewhere if you

  • Teams that want CRM, marketing automation, landing pages and a help desk from one vendor; Attio focuses on the CRM and relationship data.
  • Larger teams on a tight budget who need more than 10 seats, since seat counts above 10 start at the Pro plan (£59 per user a month billed annually).
  • Buyers who need a published SOC 2 report: Attio's Trust Center lists ISO 27001:2022, GDPR and CCPA, not SOC 2.

Does Attio integrate with Clay and your CRM?

Clay
Native Clay integration. Attio is in Clay's integrations directory (included in Clay's Growth plan and above). Clay can import records from any Attio object or list (up to 50,000 records), look up records (free, up to 10 matches), and create, update or upsert records and list entries for 1 Clay credit per run. Connecting requires an Attio workspace admin to authorise via OAuth. (source)
Integrations
Native apps for Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Zapier, Segment and Mailchimp, a Clay app built by Clay, a Make-maintained Attio app on Make, and a REST API. n8n has no built-in Attio node, so n8n users connect through its HTTP Request node. (source)
GDPR
Attio's Data Processing Addendum (last updated September 2026) forms part of its Customer Agreement and covers the GDPR and UK GDPR, using the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum for transfers. The platform is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, with backups in a different geographic region; the DPA does not name specific regions. Attio's Trust Center lists ISO 27001:2022, GDPR and CCPA, and publishes its sub-processor list. (source)
