TheirStack: pricing, features and alternatives

Job postings and technographics data, from a search app, API, webhooks and MCP, for hiring and tech-stack signals.

Researched by the Tentt team · draft awaiting expert review · Updated

TheirStack is a job postings and technographics data provider that has analysed 254M job posts from 195+ countries to show which companies are hiring for what and which technologies they use. As of October 2026 app credits start at $109 for 1,000 company credits (one-time), and API plans start at $49 a month for 1,500 credits.

What does TheirStack do?

  • Searches job postings across major job boards, with 254M job posts analysed from over 195 countries (vendor figures).
  • Infers technographics from job descriptions, tracking around 33,000 technologies, so you can find companies whose jobs mention a tool such as Snowflake or HubSpot.
  • Sells hiring signals, technographic signals and buying intent signals through a search app, APIs, datasets and MCP servers.
  • Fires webhooks from saved searches: job.new and job.closed cost 1 API credit per event, company.new costs 3, and tech.new is available on request.
  • Sends webhook events to Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable or your own endpoint, including a Clay webhook table.
  • Rolls unused credits over for 12 months; app credits reveal a company for 90 days with exports capped at 200 jobs per company.

Where does TheirStack fit in a GTM engineering stack?

TheirStack is the hiring-signal source in a GTM engineering stack: it finds companies posting jobs that imply a need for what you sell, and the tools those jobs mention.

  1. 1A saved TheirStack search (for example, RevOps roles mentioning HubSpot, posted in the UK) fires job.new webhooks
  2. 2Each job lands in a Clay webhook table with the company, title, location and job description
  3. 3Clay finds the hiring manager, verifies their email and drafts a line tied to the role being hired
  4. 4Contacts push to Instantly or Smartlead, with the job URL saved on the CRM record

Who is TheirStack best for?

A good fit if you

  • Teams whose best buying signal is a job post, for example selling to companies hiring for a role your product supports.
  • Technographic targeting where the job description names the tool, such as companies hiring Salesforce admins.
  • Low-commitment testing: app credits are one-time purchases from $109 and API plans start at $49 a month.

Look elsewhere if you

  • Teams needing contact data: TheirStack does not collect individual emails or phone numbers.
  • Detecting tools that never appear in job descriptions, since its technographics are inferred from postings.
  • Buyers who want the full Jobs, Technographics or Buying Intents datasets at a public price; those are talk to sales.

Does TheirStack integrate with Clay and your CRM?

Clay
Native Clay integration. Clay lists TheirStack as a native Source integration (Intent, Technographics and Company Data), included in all plans, with Find jobs with TheirStack (by company domain or LinkedIn URL) and Search for Companies with TheirStack, on Clay credits or your own account. TheirStack's own Clay docs page still says an official integration is in discussion and describes webhook and HTTP API setups, so the two vendors' pages disagree. (source)
Integrations
No native CRM integrations are listed. Webhooks from saved searches deliver to Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable or a custom endpoint; TheirStack also offers REST APIs and MCP servers for jobs, technographics and buying intents. (source)
GDPR
TheirStack's GDPR page says it processes personal data under legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), does not rely on consent, and keeps a written balancing assessment customers can request. It says only a narrow slice of its data is personal: names and titles of company representatives named in public job posts, and incidental mentions in job descriptions. It does not collect individual emails, phone numbers or home addresses, and links a Data Processing Agreement and sub-processor list. (source)
Data coverage
TheirStack states it has analysed 254M job postings from over 195 countries and tracks about 33,000 technologies (the same page also cites +5.3k in a filter section, so the figure is inconsistent). (source)

TheirStack FAQs

How do you get TheirStack job alerts into Clay?

Save a job or company search in TheirStack, attach a webhook to it, and point the webhook at a Clay table created with the monitor webhook source. Each new matching job then arrives as a row, costing 1 API credit per job.new event or 3 per company.new event.

Can TheirStack tell you which tech stack a company uses?

TheirStack infers technographics from the technologies named in a company's job postings, so it is strongest for tools teams hire for, like Salesforce or Snowflake. Software that never appears in job descriptions is unlikely to show up.

Why are job postings a useful outbound signal?

A job post shows budget and a priority: a company hiring an SDR manager or a data engineer is investing in that area now. It also names the team, the hiring manager's likely title and the tools in use, which gives you specific context for the first message.

What is the difference between TheirStack app credits and API credits?

App credits are bought once and spent revealing or exporting companies in TheirStack's search app, at 1 credit per company. API credits are a monthly subscription spent on API calls and webhook events: 1 per job and 3 per company or technographics lookup.
