Multichannel sequencing for email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS, priced by active contacts, with an AI SDR tier and agency workspaces.

Researched by the Tentt team · draft awaiting expert review · Updated

Reply.io is a sales engagement platform that runs sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp tasks, with unlimited mailboxes and warm-up on its Email Volume plan. As of October 2026 Email Volume starts at $59 a month ($49 billed annually) for 1,000 active contacts, and Multichannel costs $99 per user a month. A 14-day free trial is available.

What does Reply.io do?

  • Bills the Email Volume plan on active contacts: unique people who get a first-step email in the month, with unlimited follow-ups, in tiers from 1,000 to 500,000.
  • Includes unlimited mailboxes (fair usage policy) with warm-up on each, plus 50 live data credits a month for its 1-billion-contact B2B database.
  • Bundles LinkedIn automation and calls and SMS into Multichannel ($99 per user a month); on other plans they cost $69 per LinkedIn account and $29 per user a month.
  • Sells email infrastructure in-app: new domains from $6 a year plus $5 per mailbox a month, or pre-warmed packages from $25 a year plus $15 per mailbox.
  • Offers Jason, an AI SDR, from $500 a month billed annually for 1,000 active contacts, and agency workspaces from $166 to $210 a month.
  • Exposes an API, webhooks and an MCP server, with conditional sequences and trigger-based workflow automation.

Where does Reply.io fit in a GTM engineering stack?

Reply.io is the multichannel sequencing layer in a GTM engineering stack: Clay supplies enriched, verified contacts and Reply runs the email, LinkedIn and call steps against them.

  1. 1Clay scores accounts from a signal, such as a hiring spike on TheirStack
  2. 2Clay finds and verifies the buyer's email, then Create Contact writes it to Reply
  3. 3Push Contact to Campaign enrols the contact in a sequence mixing email and LinkedIn steps
  4. 4Reply's native CRM sync, or its webhooks into n8n, logs replies in HubSpot or Pipedrive

See how every layer connects in Clay integrations: how the GTM engineering stack fits together.

Who is Reply.io best for?

A good fit if you

  • Teams that want email and LinkedIn steps in one sequence without a second tool, since Multichannel includes LinkedIn automation per user.
  • GTM engineers who push Clay contacts straight into running campaigns, using Clay's Create Contact and Push Contact to Campaign actions.
  • Senders who scale by mailboxes rather than seats: Email Volume includes unlimited mailboxes and charges by active contacts.

Look elsewhere if you

  • Teams whose legal review needs full GDPR compliance in writing: Reply's own GDPR article says it is not fully compliant where its LinkedIn Email Finder extension is used for scraping.
  • Buyers wanting predictable flat pricing with all channels on the volume plan, since LinkedIn ($69 per account) and calls ($29 per user) are add-ons there.
  • Teams needing EU-confirmed hosting; Reply says customer data is stored in Azure Cloud but does not name the region on that page.

Does Reply.io integrate with Clay and your CRM?

Clay
Native Clay integration. Clay lists Reply.io as a Clay-built integration on Launch and above with two actions: Create Contact and Push Contact to Campaign. Both need your own Reply account; the push action works on an existing contact and an existing campaign (Reply also calls these sequences). (source)
Integrations
Native CRM integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper and Close (contacts, accounts, calls, tasks, statuses and activities), a Zapier step for any channel, Gmail and Chrome extensions, plus REST API, webhooks and MCP. (source)
GDPR
Reply's GDPR article (updated 16 September 2026) says customer account data is stored only in Azure Cloud and that Reply is aligned with GDPR, but not fully compliant where its LinkedIn Email Finder and Outreach extension is used to scrape LinkedIn; without that extension it says the rest of the platform is compliant. The article does not name a hosting region, and still refers to the EU-US Privacy Shield. (source)

Reply.io FAQs

What counts as an active contact in Reply.io?

An active contact is a unique person who receives a first-step email from you in the month. Follow-ups to that person are unlimited and do not count again. Email Volume tiers run from 1,000 to 500,000 active contacts.

Does Reply.io include LinkedIn automation?

LinkedIn automation is included on the Multichannel plan ($99 per user a month). On Email Volume it is an add-on at $69 per LinkedIn account a month. It covers connection requests, messages and InMails, voice messages and profile actions.

Can I add Clay contacts to a Reply.io sequence?

Yes. Run Clay's Create Contact action first, then Push Contact to Campaign to enrol that contact in an existing Reply campaign. Both actions need your own Reply account and Clay's Launch plan or above.

Is Reply.io GDPR compliant?

Reply describes itself as aligned with GDPR but says it is not fully compliant where its LinkedIn Email Finder extension is used, because of LinkedIn scraping. It says the rest of the platform is compliant and that customer data sits in Azure Cloud. Review the DPA and hosting region before rollout.

Can Reply.io set up sending domains for me?

Yes. Reply sells new domains from $6 a year plus $5 per mailbox a month, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, or pre-warmed packages from $25 a year plus $15 per mailbox a month that skip the warm-up period.
